The CR BBQ Roundup Kicks Off on Thursday! [PHOTOS]

It'll be hard to miss the smell of BBQ in Cedar Rapids this weekend! The 30th annual Cedar Rapids BBQ Roundup will kick off this Thursday afternoon and run through Sunday evening.

The 4-day event will be one again held at the McGrath Amphitheatre, with six national vendors serving up some delicious food. Those vendors include:

Austin’s Texas Lightning BBQ
Big Boned BBQ
Blazin’ Bronco BBQ & Rib Co.
Carolina Rib King
Porky Chick
Smokin’ Butt BBQ

Each day of the event will have a different theme and different live musicians. Here's a quick rundown of each day:

Thursday, June 21st
- 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Patriotic Night
- Free lunch admission from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Free lunch trolley from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (view route HERE)
- Live music from B.F. Burt, Layton White, DJ Darius Ballard, CJ Ryder & The Past Masters, and Municipal Band
- Fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Friday, June 22nd
- 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Rock Night
- Free lunch admission from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Live music from Casey Klein, The Unincorporated, Bad Authority, FLEX, and Slap ‘n’ Tickle

Saturday, June 23rd

- Country Night
- Live music from Les Olhauser, Tom Grubb, Cedar Junction Band, Wooden Nickel Lottery, and Lonesome Road
- Beerfest from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. ($30 in advance, $35 day-of) - Tickets are available for purchase at the U.S. Cellular Center Box Office (cash only)
Sunday, June 24th
- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Family Fun Day
- Live music from DJ Darius Ballard
- BBQ Awards Ceremony at 3:30 p.m.
