Memorial Day weekend is arriving fast, and with it will come HOT weather. As we stare at temperatures in the 80s and 90s through Monday, it's good timing for the opening of some of the coolest facilities in Cedar Rapids: the pools!

The Cedar Rapids city council recently granted the five municipal pools in town with over $60,000 to purchase some plush new chaise lounge chairs for the added enjoyment of patrons. Learn more through the Gazette website.
