After a 9 month hiatus (due to the COVID-19 pandemic), Peeps are back in production just in time for Easter, the only time anyone buys them.

Just Born Quality Confections announced last spring to stop production in order to protect employees' health as the pandemic began to rear its head.

Consumers had to go without Peeps for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day, but the company says their production is back in full force.

To celebrate the occasion, the company is releasing two new flavors: Hot Tamales, and Fruit Loops.

When the company launched in 1953, it took 27 hours to make a single Peep. Now, it takes about 6 minutes.
