Once again, another day and another cancellation.

According to CBS2, "The 2020 edition of Palo Fun Days will not happen in August."

The group that organizes the event has canceled this year's festivities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The news was released on Sunday afternoon via a press release and sent out to local media outlets.

Besides the obvious health reasons, the story also indicated the group was having a hard time lining up sponsors for the event. I couldn't imagine trying to put on a large scale festival right now with everything going on in our world.

The group decided it would be best to just not have the event in 2020. You can read more on their Facebook page by clicking right here.

I attended Palo Fun Days the last few years and it was a blast. It's unfortunate we won't be able to go this year, but it's all about safety and I totally get it. Let's hope in 2021 we will be back in Palo celebrating this awesome event!
