Linn-Mar is Home to this Week’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ Winner!

It's Friday, which means it's time to announce another KHAK 'Teacher of the Week!'

This week's winning teacher is Kevin Fry from the Linn-Mar Community School District! Kevin is a Digital Media Technician and works at multiple schools in the district, but he was nominated for his work at Linn-Mar High School. Student Kyle Kacena sent in the nomination for Kevin. It reads:

"I have worked with Mr. Fry since I was in 8th grade. I am a senior this year and would like to nominate him for special teacher of the week. Mr. Fry inspired me to go for the career path that I have chosen. Every day he is supportive, asks me for ideas, and really challenges me. When I was going through some bullying at school, he was there for me to talk to and he was very supportive."

For being such a wonderful teacher, Kevin will be receiving gift cards to Wild Hogs Saloon & Eatery and Half Price Books.
