KHAK Welcomes Chris Cagle To The Linn County Fair! [VIDEO]
Few artists were as consistent a hitmaker in the early 2000s as Chris Cagle. The country star is bringing all of his hit songs to the Linn County Fair in Central City this June!
Cagle Cagle got his start as a songwriter and landed a publishing deal in Nashville where he wrote songs for country artist David Kersh. He got his big break when Scott Hendriks with Virgin Records signed him to a record deal. Cagle's first album, Play it Loud, featured the lead single My Love Goes On and On, and his first top ten hit at country radio, Laredo. When Virgin Records closed in 2001, Chris' album was reissued by Capital Records and featured the song I Breathe In, I Breathe Out. By the end of 2002, the song went all the way to #1.
Cagle released his second album, Chris Cagle, in 2003. It became his second straight gold-selling album and featured the hit singles What a Beautiful Day, Chicks Dig It, and I'd Be Lying.
Cagle went on to release several other albums in the 2000s including Anywhere But Here, My Life's Been a Country Song, and Back in the Saddle. His last big hit at country radio was the single What Kinda Gone, which peaked at #3 in 2007.
Chris Cagle continues to bring his high-energy tour across the U.S. and on Friday, June 27th he'll play the Linn County Fair in Central City! Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, January 17th at 10 a.m. at TheLinnCountyFair.com!
