KHAK’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ — March 24th

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Jonathan Mitchell, a teacher at Marion High School in Marion! He is this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!” He was nominated by Sydney Holder, and here’s what they had to say:

"Mr. Mitchell is funny and easy going. He seems to really enjoy what he does and genuinely love all of his students. He is also young so he can really relate to his kids and he makes learning fun. He uses a lot of activities and fun things that you don't see often in high school. People enjoy going to his class. Even people who aren't in his class enjoy going in and being around him."

For winning, Jonathan will be receiving gift cards from Wild Hogs in Walford, Peck’s Flower Shop, Half Price Books, and Kathy’s Pies.
