KHAK ‘Teacher of the Week’ — February 24th [PHOTO]

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Kris Peterson, a teacher at Wilkins Elementary School in Marion! She is this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!” She was nominated by Shannon, and here’s what she had to say:

"Mrs. Peterson has such a positive energy about her that carries over to the kids! She picks new and fun music concerts each year. She is always open to taking the kids into the community to perform, helping them to give back."
