Keith Urban treated fans to a dynamic four-song set during Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series on Friday morning (Aug. 9) that included two No. 1 hits, a fan favorite and his current single.

The beloved country superstar delivered a polished performance to the many people who gathered in Central Park during the early morning hours, as well as those watching at home.

Urban went full-on acoustic for his reflective new single "We Were," his voice as earnest as the lyrics that brought a hush over a packed crowd. He then sent a surge of energy through the audience with his chart-topping hit "Somewhere in My Car," Urban beckoning fans to "help us out if you know it" — a request they happily catered to when he gestured to the crowd to finish the line after he sang, "I've been sleepin' 'til noon" and they swiftly sang back to him "in the same bed room," bringing a smile to his face.

The 2018 CMA Entertainer of the Year brought his set to a sobering place with fan-favorite "Parallel Line" that had the multi generational crowd singing the heartfelt lyrics back to him before rounding out set with the sultry "Blue Ain't Your Color," electing excitement from the crowd from the moment he hit the first note, his vocals crisp throughout the engaging performance.

Urban recently released an acoustic version of "We Were," which was co-written by Eric Church, who says the song unintentionally captures the early years of Urban and wife Nicole Kidman's relationship. Urban was unaware that Church served as a writer on the track until after he recorded it.
