For the first time since becoming the vice presidential nominee for the Democratic Party, Senator Tim Kaine will make a campaign stop in Iowa. Kaine will appear at whats being called an 'organizing event' at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Kaine's appearance is just the latest by both parties here in Iowa. Last week, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton held a rally in Des Moines, while Republican nominee Donald Trump made stops in Davenport, Des Moines, and Cedar Rapids. GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence has also visited Iowa multiple times.
