It's already been a record-setting season for Iowa placekicker Keith Duncan. The redshirt junior already holds the Big Ten record for most field goals in a season. He's also had three games of four or more field goals and will have several more chances to break that record too. On Monday, Duncan was named one of three finalists for the Lou Groza Award, given to the nation's top collegiate kicker.

Duncan admits that he is an average kicker as far as ability is concerned. He gets his edge in preparation. The repetition has allowed him to have the kind of season he has had so far. The Iowa placekicker was also named the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week after his four field goals in Iowa's 19-10 win over Illinois.

On the year, Duncan has made 27 of 32 field-goal attempts and is a perfect 22 for 22 on PATs. The Hawkeyes wrap up the regular season on Friday with their annual rivalry game against Nebraska in Lincoln. Game time is 1:30 p.m.
