After Steven Posey of Marion and Josh Hillman of Cedar Rapids took home some cash and cruises last month, another Cedar Rapidian is parlaying her Osceola Wheelmobile tryout to an appearance on "Wheel of Fortune".

Next week, the show will celebrate "Great American Cities" week, and Melanie Schweiss will appear Monday evening, as the show airs at 6:30 p.m. on KWWL, Channel 7.

She works as an assistant at the public library and has been a loyal "Wheel of Fortune" viewer since she was a kid. In other words, she's around a lot of books and probably knows all the strategies, which ought to supply her with a lot of knowledge on Monday night.

She's also a graduate of Mount Mercy University.

Steven Posey won over $7,000 and a trip to the Panama Canal, while Josh Hillman collected 37-grand and a cruise to Jamaica.

How well will the latest Cedar Rapids brainiac do? Tune in Monday night and see. We'll all be rooting for her, and living vicariously through her, no matter what she wins.
