More than two weeks after a shooting at the Ped Mall in Iowa City, two people remain hospitalized, and the shooter remains at large.

Shooting Suspect Still At Large

CBS2 reports that the April 19th shooting at the Ped Mall in Iowa City left five people injured after gunfire broke out following a late-night fight. Police would later identify 17-year-old Damarian Marshawn Jones of Cedar Rapids as the primary suspect in the case. Jones was charged with multiple counts of attempted murder. He remains at large.

Two Victims Remain Hospitalized

At a news conference in April, police stated that one victim, a student at the University of Iowa, was shot in the head and listed in critical condition, according to CBS2. Another victim was listed in stable condition, while three others who were injured during the shooting have been treated for their injuries and released.

CBS2 reports that family members have identified the critically injured University of Iowa student as Miranda Peters. According to her GoFundMe page, Peters is studying to become a physician's assistant. She has undergone several surgeries and is showing signs of improvement, but she still faces a long road to recovery. As of the writing of this story, over $198,000 has been raised to help cover her medical expenses.

Authorities continue to ask for the public's help in locating Jones.
