Not all the wins are going to be pretty. Sunday night wasn't for the #4 Iowa men's basketball team. Jarrod Uthoff was held scoreless for the first 17 minutes and Iowa trailed much of the first half. But Uthoff and the Hawks came alive when it mattered, and secured a 75-71 win over Minnesota at Carver Hawkeye Arena. The win puts Iowa back in first place at 11-2 in Big 10 play.

Jarrod Uthoff led the Iowa charge with 24 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Peter Jok led all scorers with 27 points, while Mike Gessel chipped in with 12 assists.

Iowa is alone in first with 5 games left in the regular season. Yes, everyone is gunning for you. But there is no place like the drivers seat! Iowa is at Penn State Wednesday night.
