Hurry Iowans, The Deadline for Holiday Cards/Packages is Coming Up
If Santa is still making his list, or hasn't started checking it at least once (if not twice), he'd better hurry! The deadline for Iowans to get holiday gifts to their recipients by Christmas is fast approaching. Radio Iowa reports the deadline for greeting cards in Friday, December 18. For packages, that deadline is just one day later if you wish for that gift to arrive before the 25th or Christmas Day. However, if you wish to use Express Mail, it has to go out by December 23rd at the latest. Remember, that option will cost significantly more.
The best news for those who enjoy slacking, you still have over a week - but I don't suggest waiting until the last second as, weather can always change, and that isn't just our forecast that could impact mail, wherever your packages have to go, take into account their could be weather issues there, too.
