Today kicks off the 2020 Presidential election process with the Iowa Caucuses. It's a pretty big deal around here, and if it's your first time, it may seem overwhelming. So if you want to caucus, but don't know where to begin, start here:

The Linn County Elections page can help point you where to go in your neighborhood to caucus.

It's a good idea to get to your caucus location early, hopefully by 6:00 p.m. so that you're in line at 7:00 p.m. That way you'll be sure to get in.

You may need to be patient upon arriving, as everyone involved is a VOLUNTEER, and it may take a little while to get everyone in.

Next, simply watch and observe the activities. You'll have people instructing you how to participate in the dialog with other neighbors to help build a "viable" base of supporters for your candidate.

By the end of the evening, you'll have participated in one of the nation's oldest and most important activities, choosing the leaders that will guide our nation.
