Only in Your State came up with a list of amazing "hidden" restaurants across the state of Iowa, and a few of them are on my restaurant bucket list!

I haven't been in the state of Iowa very long, but in the two years that I've been here, I've tried a ton of amazing local restaurants. Out of all of them, though, my favorite has to be one that's out in the middle of nowhere: The General Store in Stone City. It's a bit of a drive, but that just makes the experience even better. Whenever friends or family come to visit me in Iowa, I just LOVE taking them out there. I call it my "hidden gem."
