The Iowa Hawkeyes are now ranked in both of the national polls after their rout over the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday, 42-16

The Hawks beat up the Hoosiers improving their overall record to 5-1. Nate Stanley had a career-high six touchdowns and T.J. Hockenson and Noah Fant had over 100 yards receiving.

On the strength of the victory, Iowa shot into the national rankings. Iowa is in the #19 position in the new AP poll and #22 in the Coaches poll.

Up next for Iowa is this Saturday's Homecoming game against Maryland. The early line on the game has Iowa favored by 13 points. You can watch all of the action on ESPN 2, starting at 11 a.m.

This Iowa team is playing well and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I would give up the 13 points and take the Hawks this weekend. I expect the defense to shut down Maryland and Iowa wins this one easily.

Final score prediction: Iowa 27 Maryland 10.
