Are you looking to add a new furry family member to your household? Perfect! Because there are A LOT of animals in the eastern Iowa are that are in need of good homes.

We work with several local animal shelters such as Safe Haven of Iowa County, Last Hope Animal Rescue, and Dogs Forever. All of these places have rescued so many animals that are now in need of forever homes. Meet a few of our most recent visitors looking to get adopted.

Saysha- "Rescue dog from Texas who was facing her end at a high rate kill shelter. She was flown to Iowa by a rescue group and taken in by Safe Haven of Iowa County.  She is around 4 or 5 months old and believed to be a terrier mix, so she won't get much over 40 pounds."

Rover- "He is a 2-year-old hound, pit mix who is a gentle giant! We all fell in love with Rover's big puppy dog eyes right away. He already knows some basic commands and gets along with other dogs, and get this, cats too! Just because of his size, he would do best in a home with older kids. Rover is up for adoption at Last Hope Animal Rescue."

Jefferson-"He is 7 years old, but has all the energy of a puppy! He is an Australian Kelpie mix and is available for adoption at Dogs Forever in Cedar Rapids!"

Like we said, these are just a few of the many adoptable pets. See all of the animals still up for adoption HERE. Oh and if it's a feine you're interested in, it's kitten season! Safe Haven of Iowa County has around twenty kittens right now!

Give one of these cuties a good home and adopt today!
