On Thursday April 13, Texas Roadhouse restaurants in Iowa are open early from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. providing customers with a FREE lunch in support of Special Olympics Iowa.

In a gracious move of community support, Texas Roadhouse asks that customers simply leave a donation at their table on that day, with 100% of the proceeds going to Special Olympics Iowa.

Local law enforcement officials will serve meals and bus tables, allowing all tips to also benefit athletes with intellectual disabilities. Now that's community involvement!

The special lunch at Texas Roadhouse on April 13 includes a tasty pulled pork sandwich along with a side dish, and their famous fresh-baked bread with honey cinnamon butter. Pop or tea is also included.

So thanks to the folks at Texas Roadhouse, along with local law enforcement agencies for working together to help Special Olympics. We invite you to take part in this free lunch benefiting Special Olympics Iowa on Thursday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all Texas Roadhouse locations in Iowa, including Ames, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Council Bluffs, Davenport, Dubuque, Sioux City, and Urbandale.
