Franklin County Fair Cancels For 2020

The Franklin County Fair is the latest to put the 2020 edition of its event on hold until next year. In a press release and a post on its official Facebook page, the fair board confirmed the news and stated the Franklin County Public Health, Emergency Management, local law enforcement, and the Board of Supervisors was influential in making the decision to nix the fair amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The fair was scheduled to run from July 15-19 in Hampton, Iowa.
