Monday on Twitter, twins Kris and Keegan Murray announced they've both accepted scholarships to play for Fran McCaffery. The two are sons of Kenyon Murray, a 4-year starter at Iowa from 1992 to 1996.

The Murray brothers played high school basketball at Cedar Rapids Prairie before enrolling at CME Sports Academy in Dayton, Florida. Neither has played a game at the academy yet. They'll be freshmen at Iowa next season.

During his senior season at Prairie, Keegan (6'8") averaged 20.3 points-per-game and 7.2 rebounds while Kris (6'7") accounted for 16.6 points per game and 5.1 rebounds.

Over the weekend, Iowa received a commitment from shooting guard Tony Perkins from Indianapolis, Indiana. During his junior season, he averaged 15.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

Iowa also has a verbal commitment from Chicago guard Ahron Ulis for next season. The 6'2 point guard averaged 18.3 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per contest during his junior campaign. He committed to Iowa in early September.
