Florida’s Wind Chill Advisory

I was lucky enough to escape the brutal cold weather in Iowa last week. My heart was feeling for everyone back here as my phone weather alerts kept me posted on the extreme cold weather and snow that was going on in Iowa.

Florida had their own extreme cold... or what they thought was extreme cold. The Television News team was talking about the terrible cold they were experiencing. I was able to snap the picture above of the weatherman talking about the "wind chill advisory" for central Florida. "Bundle up if you're heading outside tonight," they said. These wind chills were for 27 to 37 degrees ABOVE ZERO!!!

Not sure they would be able to survive wind chills of -20 to -30 below zero we have here in the Midwest.
