98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Troy Reynolds

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

This week we honor Troy Reynolds, who was nominated by Beth Reynolds. The entry reads:

"Troy has been a volunteer at the Hiawatha Fire Department since 2012. He is always willing to take on shifts when needed and is always there to help out when called upon. Troy decided he wanted to be a firefighter after we experienced a house fire when he was in middle school. He wanted to help people who found themselves in the same situation that we were in. His family could not be prouder of the dedication he has shown in his role at Hiawatha Fire."
