98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Christopher Boos

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Christopher Boos, who was nominated by Donna Boos! The entry reads:

"Officer Boos works full-time for the Independence Police Dept. and part-time for the Jesup Police Dept. Besides great work ethic and morals, he is level-headed, has sound judgement, and is humble, accountable, etc. In 2021, he received the Sheepdog Award for going above and beyond, and in 2022 he was Officer of the Year. He has had multiple opportunities to climb the ranks, but knows he belongs working on the street."
