Fantasy Sports Wagering Making Another Run In Iowa

As the NFL season comes to a close, State Lawmakers are working to make fantasy games a reality here in Iowa.

Fantasy sports sites like FanDuel & Daft Kings are online sites that allow you to form your own fantasy team and if your players do well enough, you can actually win money. The problem with this is it's illegal in Iowa and other states.

State law makers are working legislation that would legalize wagering on fantasy sports. The state Racing and Gaming would place a 7.5% tax on revenues and players would have to be above the age of 21.

According to the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, over 1 billion is wagered every year on fantasy sports in the US and Canada.
