Everything You Need To Know About Sturgis Falls
This weekend will kick off another year of fun and festivities at the Sturgis Falls Celebration!
It actually all started out as a celebration of the Cedar Falls Bicentennial Celebration and has grown into a huge community event over the years. There is a WHOLE lot going on in Cedar Falls this weekend to celebrate, so here's all of the details to help you keep track of it all!
Carnival
Location: Gateway Park
Thursday – 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Friday – 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m
Saturday – 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Sunday – 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Ticket Prices:
Single Tickets ~ $1.00
Wristbands ~ $20 per day for unlimited rides
Parades
Kids Parade ~ Friday, June 24th at 4:30 PM
- Meet at the corner of Franklin and 7th at Lincoln Elementary around 4:15
- Costume judging begins at 4:30 PM
- Parade starts at 4:45 PM
The parade will travel north on Franklin Street and end under the Kidsway Big Top around the corner of 3rd and Franklin Street.
Saturday, June 25th Parade
Kicks off at 10 AM at 7th and Clay Street. It will then move south to 11th street, go east on Main, turn north to 3rd and finally going south at Franklin Street.
Arts & Craft Fair
Sunday, June 26th
9AM-4PM
Located on the streets around Overman Park, not too far from where the Cedar Falls Farmers Market is. There will be more than 80 artisans and vendors at this craft fair!
Gateway Market
This is located in Gateway park between the carnival and Gateway Park Stage.
Hours for Gateway Market:
Friday – 1PM to 10PM
Saturday – 10AM-10PM
Sunday – 10AM-5PM
