As you probably know Eric Church played a show at the iWireless Center in Moline last night (4/13), and if you were there then you know it was AMAZING. Church is hands down, my favorite country artist. He has a passion for the music like no one I've ever seen before (except for maybe Garth). And that was abundantly clear considering he played for about three-and-a-half to four hours! Despite how long he played, I still could have stayed there all night watching him perform.

He opened the show with 'Mistress Named Music' off of his latest album Mr. Misunderstood. The coolest part was that he brought in a local high school choir to help sing backup vocals. It was magical. The concert itself was very fast-paced, going from one hit to the next, and it was a party the entire time. For a Wednesday night, the energy in the arena was crazy!

If you go to an Eric Church concert, you better be ready to party no matter what day it is. Eric left it all on the stage, playing everything from 'Jack Daniels' (my favorite) to 'Kill a Word' which totaled to around 38 songs. There wasn't a song I can think of that he didn't play. In case you missed it, here are some photos from the night:

This concert tops any I've ever been to. The best part was that I got to meet him (the real him not his wax figure). I don't usually get nervous meeting artists, but with him it was different. He's someone that I have looked up to and respected as an artist for so long. Not to mention, I LOVE his music. So I was kind of freaking out on the inside, but tried to keep my composure.

If you ever get the chance to go an Eric Church concert--GO. You won't be disappointed. Until we meet again, Chief!
