Cedar Rapids Summer Tradition Returns: Patriotic Pops at Brucemore

The outdoor concert series known as Brucemorchestra began back in 2008. The annual concert series by Orchestra Iowa would annually draw thousands of music lovers to the lawns of Brucemore in Cedar Rapids. The concert series would end in 2021. But thanks to fundraising efforts, the concert is back this summer, and tickets are now available!

Fundraising Effort Makes the Concert a Reality

According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, a fundraising goal of $50,000 was reached by the end of February. This amount ensured that the concert series would return in 2026. While fundraising efforts continue, the concert is scheduled for August 29th. The Gazette reports that the show costs between $100,000 and $200,000 to produce, even if rained out.
