Big & Rich Will Play a FREE Show in Coralville This Summer!
A country party like no other is headed to Eastern Iowa this summer! Big & Rich are coming to the Corridor this July!
Big & Rich Bringing Unique Sound to Iowa
If you remember, like I do, when Big & Rich burst onto the country music scene in 2004, you'll remember how unique their sound was. No one was putting out songs like 'Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy'. And that is why it worked! John Rich was a singer-songwriter that was formerly a member of the band Lonestar. Big Kenny had a history in rock music. But when paired together, you got a duo that country music had never seen before!
The duo released their debut album, A Horse of a Different Color, in 2004. It featured the hit songs 'Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy', 'Wild West Show', 'Holy Water', and 'Big Time'.
Several more studio albums would follow featuring hits like 'Comin' to Your City', '8th of November', and their only #1 hit song, 'Lost in This Moment'.
Big & Rich Coming to Coralville
CBS2 reports that Big & Rich will be part of Coralville's annual 4thFest celebration this summer. The duo will be part of a free outdoor show at S.T. Morrison Park on July 3rd. Swisher native and rising country star KC Brunner will be the opener!
It's bound to be a party when Big & Rich are in town! You can find more information on this year's Coralville 4thFest celebration HERE.
