Eastern Iowa Heat Wave is Just Days Away
Check your air conditioner, you'll need it before the week is over. Above-average temperatures are on their way and they may be sticking around.
CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist Terry Swails says to expect high temperatures in the 90's for four consecutive days, beginning on Friday. He also says to expect above-normal temps every day from this Thursday through June 19th. That may only be the beginning since Cedar Rapids' hottest average temperature doesn't arrive until July 23. Weatherspark puts the average high then at 83 degrees.
Tomorrow and Wednesday should feature below average temperatures and I don't know about you but I plan to get outside and enjoy it.
