Downtown Farmer’s Market Opens This Weekend

Get ready for fresh produce, wine, baked goods, dogs, sun and fun this weekend in the "City of Five Seasons!"

This Saturday, May 25 at 7:30 a.m. is opening day for the Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmer's Market. I'm told there will be over 200 Iowa vendors for you to enjoy. Plus, there will be plenty of shopping for the adults, and the kids can enjoy the Fun Zone in Green Square Park!

There's no need to worry about carrying all of your purchased items around with you either, because you can pick up your market tote bag at the info booth for just $10. They will also have carts for you to borrow as you make you way through the market. Bring the dogs with you, but just be sure they are on a leash.
