Last week was the first week of February, which means it's time for another month of movies! This weekend I chose a Robin Williams' flick that I found on Netflix, The Birdcage (1996).

After Robin Williams passed away, I realized that there are a TON of his movies that I've never seen! I went scrolling through Netflix for a comedy off my movie list, and The Birdcage popped up. I went into the movie not knowing ANYTHING about it. Absolutely nothing. But, I ended up very pleasantly surprised, because it was HILARIOUS!

Nathan Lane and Robin Williams were both hysterical, but ESPECIALLY Nathan Lane. I loved the overdramatics. The part where he came out dressed Mrs. Doubtfire-esque killed me! The humor was very smart, too. You really had to listen to get some of the jokes. I also really enjoyed Agador and the fact that he couldn't cook or wear shoes. My favorite part of the movie, though, had to be when they were all dancing and singing around the piano to "I Could Have Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady. It just made me smile :)

This week I'll either be watching Girl Interrupted or Dazed and Confused.

Have any suggestions for me? Post them below!
