Courtlin Plans Her Birthday Trip to Minneapolis!

It's that time of year again! No, not the holiday season, but the month that I start to loosely plan my birthday trip for the following year. Some people start to prepare for trips a couple of months out, but not me. I'm a planner, so I like to have a good 6 months to figure out all the details.

Every May, I like to take a 4-day birthday trip to a place I've never been before. First, it was Nashville, then Chicago, then we took a bonus trip to Denver last fall for my BFF's birthday, and then this year I went with my mom to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando. My 2019 trip will be much closer to home, as my friend and I have decided to visit Minneapolis!

The main reason we chose Minneapolis is because of the Mall of America. As a Midwesterner, it's kind of surprising that I've never been there before! I look forward to spending an entire day shopping until my legs fall off. But, there are still three other days to plan! This is where you come in.

I need to know alllll about Minneapolis. Where should we stay? Where should we eat? What activities should we plan? What bars should we visit? Where can we do karaoke? I have done exactly zero research so far, so ANY suggestions would be wonderful! Please leave any that you have in the comments below!
