Courtlin Picks Out Creepy Wedding Gifts [PHOTOS]

My best friend got married this past weekend, and I definitely did not go the traditional gift route!

My best friend and her new husband are a very unique couple, so, as a member of the bridal party, I wanted to give them an equally unique gift. Giving them a personalized mug or a card full of money just didn't feel right. I spent weeks looking at Pinterest and Etsy, trying to find the perfect weird wedding gift, and just 2 weeks before the wedding, I finally came up with something. They are both big fans of the AMC show The Walking Dead, and they both also love gardening. Etsy was the perfect place to combine the two, because that is where I found a zombie lawn gnome.

Yes, I bought my friend a zombie lawn gnome as a wedding present.

It's actually really cool, because it's handmade and hand-painted.

To go along with the zombie theme, I thought it would be cool to have some sort of art with a zombie bride and groom. That's where I used the power of Facebook to find an artist who could help me out. A guy a graduated high school with, Dan Furchak, offered to paint me the picture I wanted, using a photo of the couple as inspiration. It turned out perfect! I framed it and VOILA!
