Courtlin Captured Some Pretty Cool Photos of Saturday’s Storm

Eastern Iowa got hit with some unpredictable storms this weekend, but they made for some really cool looking skies!

After spending a good amount of time outside on Saturday morning (I have the burns to prove it), there was no visual indication that we would be getting any storms that day. But, this is Iowa, and I have come to expect the unexpected. When Brain and I hit the road to drive to Vinton on Saturday night, the sky was looking pretty dark. We hit a few patches of heavy rain on our way, but things seemed to calm down as we got closer to our destination. Brain was driving, so I was able to snap some pretty amazing pictures from the passenger window. People can say what they want about Iowa, but nobody can ever argue that it's not beautiful!
