High school volleyball takes over Coralville this week as the Girls' State Volleyball Tournament begins today at Xtream Arena! Here is everything you need to know before you go and watch your favorite team go for the title!

Matches Get Underway This Afternoon

According to the IGHSAU, matches at the state volleyball tournament in Coralville start this afternoon. Quarterfinal matches in Class 5A and Class 4A start this afternoon. Quarterfinal matches in Class 3A, 2A, and 1A start tomorrow morning.

Semifinal matches will be held on Wednesday, with Championship matches being played on Thursday.

Eastern Iowa Teams Playing in the State Tournament

There are several teams from Eastern Iowa who have made the state volleyball tournament! They include;

Class 2A

  • Wapsie Valley
  • Beckman Catholic
  • Dike New-Hartford
  • Iowa City Regina

Class 3A

  • Mt. Vernon
  • Mid-Prairie

Class 4A

  • Clear Creek-Amana
  • Marion

Class 5A

  • Iowa City West

 

How to Purchase Tickets to the State Volleyball Tournament

Tickets to the state volleyball tournament are $15 per person plus fees. If your team advances, you'll have to purchase tickets for each day the team plays. You can buy your tickets HERE.
