Early last week, we told you the City of Coralville would still be 4th of July fireworks display for the city, even though most activities surrounding the annual 4thFest were canceled. We now know more details about the fireworks.

In a media release, the city says the fireworks will be in a new location to allow for everything necessary as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. It's the Coralville Youth Sports Complex at 2480 Dempster Drive. The Complex provides plenty of parking, the ability to social distance, easy access for fireworks-watchers who wish to be on-site, along with easy visibility for many who want to watch from a distance.
