lululemon is expanding its footprint in Johnson County... again! According to an article from the Corridor Business Journal, the popular activewear store is set to relocate to a new, larger location later this year!

Where is lululemon Located?

There are currently only two lululemon stores in the state of Iowa: one at Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines, and one in the Iowa River Landing in Coralville. The one in Coralville is the store that will be making moves in 2026.

The Coralville lululemon got its start as a pop-up store back in 2017, but ended up as a permanent location that fall. Then, in 2019, the store reopened in its current location at 920 E 2nd Ave, which increased its size by 40%. Now, lululemon is moving again, it's getting even bigger!

Where is it Moving?

The article from the Corridor Business Journal says that lululemon isn't moving very far - it's going to be just down the street! The new, larger store is right in between Active Endeavors and Marquee Pizzeria. A social media post from the Iowa River Landing reads:

"Coming later this year, their new location will be more than double the size, making room for an expanded product selection you’ve been asking for!"

The new location is expected to open sometime this fall.

Other New IRL Additions

lululemon's relocation isn't the only change at Coralville's Iowa River Landing! Another new business just opened earlier this month, and another is opening in just a few days.

We found out back in September that the Corridor would be getting its first Crisp & Green location in Coralville's Iowa River Landing, and now the wait is almost over! The Iowa River Landing announced on social media that the eatery will begin welcoming customers this Friday, January 30th. The grand opening celebration will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Crisp & Green is a fast, casual restaurant chain that serves "made-from-scratch salads, grain bowls and smoothies crafted with fresh ingredients." In addition to healthy food options, the company also host health and wellness events at their locations. The Coralville store will have its first event, a mat pilates class, on Saturday, January 31st at 11 a.m.

The Coralville Crisp & Green at 801 E 2nd Ave will be the second Iowa location for the chain. The other is at 141 S Jordan Creek Pkwy in West Des Moines.
