Comedian Rodney Carrington Coming to Cedar Rapids

Does laughing warm you up when you're cold? I ask because we're happy to announce a second comedy show in Cedar Rapids during the cold months ahead!

First, there's ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, on December 8 at the U.S. Cellular Center, and now comes the announcement of Rodney Carrington. His show will be at the Paramount Theatre on Friday, January 3. The show was announced earlier today, with tickets going on sale later this week. Carrington has done eight comedy albums, had his own ABC-TV comedy "Rodney,"  and even co-wrote and starred with Toby Keith in the movie "Beer for My Horses." Toby also makes an appearance in the video for one of Rodney's many comedy songs, "If I'm the Only One." You can watch it below.
