A winning lottery ticket worth $1 million was purchased in Nevada, Iowa last year, but went unclaimed until this past April, when it was deemed expired and the money went back up for grabs.

Enter a group of co-workers at Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids. 34 of them pooled together to enter the "Woo Hoo A Million For You Giveaway" from the Iowa Lottery...and won. Any ticket bought in Iowa between May 29 and June 11 was entered in this pool, and in that time frame over 165,000 tickets were purchased.

We might never know who had the original ticket, or why they didn't step forward, but we're guessing this latest group of winners will gladly take the loot.

It's a great fantasy to think about. What would you do with a million dollars? It's not a fantasy for these folks, and it's a little less than that for each of them, when split 34 ways after taxes, but I don't think any of us would grumble about any chunk of that dough.
