Celebrate Iowa’s ‘One Shining Moment’! [VIDEO]

One of the strangest things about the coronavirus scare here in the U.S. is the full cancellation and suspension of all things sport. I love sports. It makes up the majority of my TV viewing. And this time of year? Baseball opening day...gone. NBA playoff push...gone. And of course the NCAA basketball tournament...gone. What's a guy supposed to watch?

The loss of the NCAA tournament is being felt the hardest among even casual sports fans. Everyone filled out their brackets and sat back and watched the madness ensue! The Iowa men's basketball team was a shoo-in for the big dance, and many had them pegged as a team to watch. Who knows, perhaps Luka Garza could have led this team to a Sweet 16 run or beyond. We'll never know.

One of the great parts of the NCAA tournament is at the end when we get the season-ending montage of plays set to the song 'One Shining Moment'. Since we won't get that this year, we can at least enjoy an Iowa Hawkeye montage set to that song. It's a nice way to put the cap on an amazing season that ended too soon!
