Cedar Rapids Will Still Have Plenty of Clean Up [PHOTOS]
The Cedar River crested in Cedar Rapids Tuesday at 21.97 feet, its second highest level in history. However, for those touched by floodwaters, this flood is only beginning.
The Cedar is slowly drifting downward now, but the threat isn't over yet. The city says they won't reach any type of comfort level until the river drops to 18 feet. That won't happen until Thursday evening. These pictures are a stark reminder that many will need our help for a very long time.
