Lots of Summer Baseball Left: Kernels Promotions And Giveaways

The Cedar Rapids Kernels season is well underway. With July 4th weekend upon us and perfect weather to match, it's an excellent time to plan for a fun day/night at the ballpark. A game at Veterans' Memorial Stadium is a treat and they often run special promotions and giveaways, or discounts for fans. Let's look at some of those coming up below.

Big Screen Thursdays with First Federal Community Credit Union

Three lucky fans age 18 and up will leave at the end of the game with a brand new, 50-inch big screen TV! Fans can stop by the First Federal Credit Union table on the concourse for a FREE raffle ticket. The Thursday schedule is as follows:

Get your drink on after a long week, as all 16 oz. draft and canned beer and 20 oz. bottled soda and water are "buy one get one FREE!"
