Die-hard Iowa Hawkeye football fans looking to follow the team on the road this season have a new travel option thanks to the Eastern Iowa Airport!

CBS2 reports that the Eastern Iowa Airport is working with Delta and American Airlines to offer Iowa fans direct flights to Hawkeye football games.

Which Games Can Iowa Fans Fly To?

According to CBS2, Iowa football fans looking to travel to Los Angeles to see the Hawkeyes play USC can take advantage of a direct flight from Delta for the weekend of November 15th. The game will start at either 12 or 12:30 pm Pacific time that Saturday.

  • Friday, Nov. 14th - CID (10 am CT) to LAX (12:05 pm PT) – Delta 8801
  • Sunday, Nov. 16th - LAX (12:15 pm PT) to CIS (6 pm CT) – Delta 8801

Hawkeye fans who live outside the state of Iowa will also be able to fly into the Eastern Iowa Airport from select cities, according to CBS2.

  • Friday, Oct. 17th - PHL (10:50 am ET) to CID (5:45 pm CT) – American 3105
  • Sunday, Oct. 19th - CID (1:51 pm CT) to PHL (5:14 pm ET) – American 3105

Oregon @ Iowa on November 8th

  • Friday, Nov. 7th - PDX (12:00 pm PT) to CID (5:45 pm CT) – Delta 8802
  • Sunday, Nov. 9th - CID (10 am CT) to PDX (12:25 pm PT) – Delta 8802

Michigan State @ Iowa on November 22nd

  • Friday, Nov. 21st - DTW (3:50 pm ET) to CID (4:30 pm CT) – Delta 5551
  • Sunday, Nov. 23rd - CID (11:20 am CT) to DTW (2 pm ET) – Delta 5551
