You'll have to forgive Caitlin Clark, she's used to breaking records. And this weekend she broke a record previously held by tennis great Serena Williams.

Caitlin Clark broke records while in college at the University of Iowa and she broke more records during her rookie season in the WNBA. But on Saturday she broke a different kind of record. The record for the most valuable women's trading card ever sold. Yahoo reports that the record was formerly held by tennis star Serena Williams who saw one of her cards sell for an astounding $266,400 in 2022. But now, the record belongs to Clark.

Yahoo reports that Clark's "2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl Signed Rookie Card," a one-of-a-kind, sold for a whopping $366,000! Clark actually broke her old record for the most valuable women's basketball card ever sold after another one-of-a-kind Clark card sold for over $234,000 in December of 2024.

While Clark's record cards are impressive it doesn't compare to the record for the most expensive men's basketball card ever sold, an autographed Stephen Curry rookie card that sold for 5.9 million in 2021 according to Yahoo. And if you're wondering who holds the record for the most expensive sports card ever sold that would be the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle which sold for 12.6 million in August 2022.
