Caitlin Clark Gives Big to Support Iowa Food Banks

She shoots, she scores, and she HELPS.

Caitlin Clark and her foundation have partnered with Hy-Vee to make a six-figure donation to food banks in Iowa and the Midwest. The Des Moines Register reports that officials from Hy-Vee and the Caitlin Clark Foundation presented a check in the amount of $300,802 to the nonprofit Feeding America on May 6th.

The Register reports that the donation will go directly to 18 Feeding America partner food banks throughout the Midwest, including in Iowa.

Earlier this month, Hy-Vee and the Caitlin Clark Foundation announced that they will be bringing back Clark's very own Hy-Vee cereal, according to the Register. All proceeds from the sale of the cereal will go to her foundation. You'd better hurry, because last time it sold out in a matter of days!
