
BREAKING: Rescuers Save Woman in Tree in the Cedar River
CBS2/FOX28 reported that rescue crews were responding to a water rescue near Edgewood & Ellis where a woman was swept away by flood water.
The call to Cedar Rapids Police reportedly came in at 1:30 Monday afternoon. She was discovered in a tree south of the Edgewood Road bridge and returned to safety by 3:17 p.m. She was taken to a local hospital for observation.
CBS 2 sent a drone above the rescue operation.
