Riding a bike. Some of us learn sooner than others. I remember I didn't take to it quickly. But eventually, not wanting to be caught by my younger brother I too learned how to ride. Chase didn't learn to ride a bike until he was a bit older. He had a scooter and rode that around the neighborhood. But one day he wanted to learn and he did just that. He learned in one afternoon. My oldest daughter Carly learned a couple of summers ago how to ride. But my youngest daughter Cayleigh has always been a bit timid. She got a new bike for her birthday this spring but it was still a bit too big for her. She got by with riding her scooter this summer. Until this weekend.

She got her bike out of the garage and with a little help began navigating the sidewalk just like her older brother and sister do. It was fun to watch. Sure, she still needs help turning around, but she can peddle up and down our street with ease. The last of our three to learn how to ride. They grow up quick.
