Today is National Kindergarten Day! Nearly 150 years ago, the first kindergarten was started by Friedrich Frobel in Germany. Kindergarten means "garden for the children" in German. The day is celebrated as a way for students to say thank you to their kindergarten teachers. I have a kindergarten student in my house! I decided to sit down with my daughter Cayleigh last night and see what life is like in kindergarten!
